James Longley Talks about "Iraq in Fragments" in Tehran

Short Film News (SFN) - Iraq in Fragments by James Longley was screened in the first Iran International Documentary Film Festival: Cinema Verite and Longley talked about the film. Mentioning his satisfaction of coming to Iran, Longley said he went to Iraq in 2002 for the first time and second time was 6, 7 months before Iraq war but he could not get the permission to make this film in these two trips. In February 2003, 20 days before the war began, he went to Iraq for the third time and started this film because he knew the U.S intended to attack and occupy Iraq.

Short Film News (SFN) - An Iranian film won a prize in Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults. Auburn Festival which was held from 17 - 21 September 2007 selected The Zero by Sajad Shahedy as the best film made by youth 15 - 22 years old.
