Short Film News (SFN) - The first Iran International Documentary Film Festival: Cinema Verite opens today, October 15 in Tehran.

The event which goes on until October 19, will screen 26 short and feature documentaries in its international competition.

The two grand prizes of this international festival are 10 thousand and 7 thousand Euros which is going to be dedicated to the selected short and feature documentaries.

The special jury prize is 5 thousand Euros to be given to the selected filmmaker.

Syrian Documentary Film Panorama and tribute to Ingmar Bergman are among the other programs in the Cinema Verite festival.
