Short Film News (SFN)- Iran International Documentary Film Festival: Cinema Verite is going to hold a tribute to Ingmar Bergman, the well known Swedish filmmaker, by showing two documentaries.

Ingmar Bergman on His Life and Work by John Donner, the Swedish documentary filmmaker, is one of these documentaries in which Bergman talks about his art life. This film is a co-production of Arte Channel and Sweden TV which is made in 90 minutes and is going to be shown in Special Section of this festival.

The second film is Are You Playing Tonight?, which talks about the theatrical life of Erland Josephson, the famous Swedish actor who starred in many films of Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky and Liliana Cavani.

In this documentary Josephson talks about some experiences and memories he had with Bergman while working with him. This film is going to be shown in the International Competition of Cinema Verite.

The First Iran International Documentary Film Festival: Cinema Verite is going to be held from 15- 19 October in Tehran.
