Short Film News (SFN) - The 8th DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival has organized a retrospective of the renowned British documentary film makers Nick Broomfield's work.
The program includes nine Broomfield's documentaries and he along with Richard
Leacock will be attending Festival as honored guests.
Short Film News (SFN) - Danish documentary producer Mikael Opstrup was elected as the new chairman of the European Documentary Network (EDN), while at the same time a new executive committee was elected.
Opstrup has been a member of the committee for three years, where he among other things has contributed to outlining a survey on the status of the European documentary industry. He is producer at Final Cut Productions in Copenhagen.
