San Sebastian Fest to focus on docus

Short Film News (SFN) -The 58th San Sebastian Festival will dedicate an extensive retrospective to contemporary non-fiction cinema. Called doc - New paths of non-fiction the tribute reflects "the growing importance of the documentary genre in the world movie scene in recent years," the fest said Monday.

Hot Docs capped off a week of industry programming and film screenings with its 2010 Awards Presentation, held Friday, May 7, at the Isabel Bader Theatre in downtown Toronto.
