Short Film News (SFN) - The 18th annual Women's Film Festival in Brattleboro, Vermont will screen 27 films from short documentaries to full-length features, most made by women. Taking place from March 13-22, the festival will show films from U.S, Germany, the Netherlands, Iran, India, France, the Bahamas, and Argentina.
Short Film News (SFN) - Short Term 12 by Destin Daniel Cretton and Lies by Jonas Odell won the 25th Sundance Film Festival's short film top awards. Short Film jurors including Gerardo Naranjo, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Sharon Swart gave the jury prize in short filmmaking to Short Term 12, and the jury prize in international short filmmaking to Lies.
