Short Film News (SFN)- The 8th edition of Yari Film Festival in which 10 short films & documentaries and 8 features are going to be screened, kicks off today.

Yari Festival, whose income of selling the tickets is specified to support Iranian poor children, is holding its 8th edition by the news sponsoring of SFN.

Tweezers by Kaveh Mazaheri, A Roof over the Head by Mehdi Boostani, The Blue Song of Mountain by Hamed Khosravi, A Cozy Place for the Fish by Nasser Zamiri, Father and Morning Ceremony by Hadi Afarideh, Water by Roghieh Tavakoli, A Woman of Fog Family by Ashkan Ahmadi, Behind That Snow Covered Hill by Ramtin Lavafi, and Iran in the Limelight by Farahnaz Sharifi are the films to be screened in short film and documentary section of the festival.

So Simple by Reza Mirkarimi, Santouri by Dariush Mehrjui, The Yalda Night and Night Bus by Kiomars Pourahmad, Tambourine by Parisa Bakhtavar, Fireworks Wednesday by Asghar Farhadi, the series of Persian Carpet short films and Kite Runner by Marc Forster are the features in this festival.

The 8th edition of Yari Festival will be opened today by screening films in Uppsala and the film screening will be continued till 10th October in Stockholm and Vasteras.
