Short Film News (SFN)- 12 Iranian shorts are guest in fourth edition of the South Asian Film Festival 2009, in India.
50 films will be screened at SAFF and the films will be screened in four categories: short films, documentary, classic films and mainstream feature films.
This festival has tied up with the Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS) to present the Iranian panorama at the festival comprising 12 contemporary movies.
The Iranian spread at the South Asian Film festival 2009 includes: With Setareh Till Dawn, Two Cups of Coffee, A Picture of a Dream, Come on, Everybody is Asleep, Dance of Love, The Empty Fish Bowl, In An Iranian Market, Life, War and Nothing More, Redroot Pigweed, Sound of Soil and The Last Image of a Memory.
The festival hosted by the South Asia Foundation, a leading non-profit organization, will be supported by the Entertainment Society of Goa and the Kala Academy.
SAFF Goa will have many celebrities from south Asian film fraternity like Shyam Benegal, Manisha Koirala, Mahesh Bhatt, Madhur Bhandarkar, Prasanna Vithanage and Enamul Karim.
The South Asian Film Festival 2009 will take place from June 26 until June 29 in Goa.
