Best Short Films and Documentaries in Fajr Festival

Short Film News (SFN) - The Crystal Simorgh of the best documentary and short film in the 26th edition of Fajr International Film Festival was dedicated in the Great Hall of the country.

In Short Fiction Film Competition two Diplomas of Honor was given to Chavush by Farokh Hanif-nezhad Zibaie and the animation of In Our Home by Maryam Kashkulinia and the Crystal Simorgh for the best short film went to Boomerang by Dariush Gharibzadeh.

In the Competitionof Documentaries, the Crystal Simorgh was dedicated to The Blue Song of Mountain by Hamed Khosrawi as the best short documentary and a diploma of honor was given to The Day of Event by Mohammad Ali Farsi for the text of the film, a Diploma of Honor was given to The Lights by Mohsen Ramzanzadeh for cultural and scientific research and a Diploma of Honor was dedicated to Cyanosis by Rokhsareh Ghaemmaghami for new experiences and the creational mixing of documentary with animation.

In Long Documentary Section the Crystal Simorgh went to Tinar by Mehdi Moniri and the diploma of Honor was given to Seven Auspicious Faces of Iran by Farzin Rezaian for producing a film impressed by the rich culture and history of Iran.

The 26th edition of Fajr International Film Festival took place from 1 till 11 February in Tehran.
