Short Film News- Adam's Children, a short documentary by Mohammad Reza Fathi Najafi, participates in the competition section of the 6th Festival Image et Vie in Senegal.

This festival is being held from 14th till 17th June, 2006, with an "emphasis on the effective programs in creativity and development of humane affairs". This festival includes features, shorts, documentaries, and animations sections.

Also films from Britain, Canada, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, and the host country participate in this festival, and Adam's Children is the only Iranian film presented in the Arabic language (Quranic verses) with Persian and French subtitles.

This is the 6th participation by Adam's Children in an international festival. In the past year, it participated in film festivals in India, Tanzania, Portugal, Russia's Islamic World Films Festival (winner of golden pulpit statue as the best documentary), and Tehran Short Film Festival.

Also My Tasty Friend, a short animated film by Hadi Yaghinlou is the only Iranian production present in the 34th Huesca International Short Film Festival, held from 8th to 17th June in Spain.

Yaghinlou's film is shown on 16th June in the competition section of the festival.
