Short Film News (SFN)- Four Iranian short films will compete in the 57th International Brno Sixteen Film Festival in Czech Republic.

The Iranian short films include Ardak by Esmaeil Monsef, Exterior Wash by Jaber Ramezani, Like Father by Siavash Shahabi, and Survival by Masoud Hatami.  

The films will compete alongside other titles from the host country, Poland, US, Palestine, Britain, Canada, France, Austria, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Romania, Croatia, China, Cyprus, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Mexico.

Brno Sixteen, one of the oldest local international festivals, derives its name from the 16 mm film format and aims to bring student cinematography and independent professional cinematography to its film festival.

The 57th edition of the festival will be held on 12-15 October, 2016, in the city of Brno.
