Tehran International Short Film Festival kicks off

Short Film News (SFN)- The 29th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival kicked off yesterday in Tehran.

Over 1000 productions have been submitted so far, among which are films from countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Indonesia, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Morocco and Qatar.

Screening of top short films from previous editions, a review of French cinema as well as a review of the productions by Azeri speaking filmmakers are among the major sections of the festival.

Organized by the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, this year’s event will run from October 1 to 7, 2012.
