Short Film News (SFN)- Iranian actress Leila Hatami is selected as head of jury in the 5th Kustendorf festival in Bosnia Herzegovina.
The fifth edition of the Kustendorf Festival has begun in Drvengrad, an idyllic hillside village in western Serbia close to the border with Bosnia Herzegovina. The film and music event is the brainchild of the director Emir Kusturica and is dedicated to young film-makers.
In the running for the Gold, Silver and Bronze Eggs - the prizes to be awarded when the festival ends on January 23 - are twenty films by young directors from Belgium, the UK, Italy, Estonia, Canada, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Mexico, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, the United States, Spain and France.
The international jury is chaired by the Iranian actress Leila Hatami, who will be flanked by the French producer, Pierre Edelman, and the Serbian actor and producer, Zoran Cvijanovic.
