Short Film News (SFN)- An Iranian film is selected in the 9th edition of Short Soup Film Festival which is going to be held in Australia by Cinewest Organization.

This one day festival which is going to take place in Sunday January 22, 2012 at Cathy Freeman Boulevard (The Overflow) at Sydney Olympic Park between the hours of 22.30 to 23.30. 

The 9th Short Soup received over 350 short films from 49 countries and selected 17 multi award winning shorts from AUSTRALIA, BELGIUM, BULGARIA, CANADA, DENMARK, FRANCE, GERMANY, GREECE,  IRAN, RUSSIA, SINGAPORE, SPAIN, UK and USA to compete for ‘Best Short Film Award’ in their respective categories; Entrée, Main Course and Dessert.

NEWSIF by Mohammad Esmaeili is the Iranian film in Dessert section.
