Short Film News (SFN) - Iranian filmmaker has been awarded at the ninth edition of Tirana International Film Festival.

The prize for the Best Fiction Short Film goes to the sound of rain by Jalal Saedpanah from Iran.

The Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) is the first international cinema festival of its kind in Albania. Created in 2003, this extraordinary cultural event takes place under the auspices of the Albanian National Center for Cinematography.

The ninth edition of Tirana International Film Festival was held from December 5 to 10, 2011 in Albania and complete list of winners is available at Festival website: www.tiranafilmfest.com
