Short Film News (SFN)- Marjan Riahi Founder & Manager of SFN will serve on the jury of the 5th edition of Grand Off World Independent Film Awards in Poland.

Also an Iranian film is to be shown in the Grand Off.  

The awards are given in best directing, scenario, edition, cinematography, casts, feature film, animation and non-European films sections.

I Wished Someone Was Waiting for Me Somewhere, a short film by Babak Amini is a candidate for best scenario award.

This is the 10th experiment of Marjan Riahi in international festival. She has joined jury members of some festivals including Golden Elephant in India, Black Nights in Estonia, Third Eye in India, Kabul in Afghanistan and Zoom in Poland.

The Polish festival runs on December 9-11 and the list of winners would be unveiled on December 10.
