Short Film News (SFN)- Iran's 5th Cinema Verite International Documentary Film Festival has announced winners during a ceremony held in the capital city of Tehran.
Persian Gulf won the Best Feature Documentary award. The film, which has been recently awarded at the Iran Cinema Celebration, also won the Best Historical Documentary Award of the festival.
Director Orod Attarpur and his assistant Saeid Malih received the award for research and studies conducted for the film.
Mashti Esmaeil by Mehdi Kiasari Best medium-length documentary and Nomad Wedding by Hassan Qahremani won the Best Short Documentary Award as well as the Best Ethnography Award.
One Moment by Raya Nasiri was selected as the best social documentary and the Best Portrait Documentary Award went to Ahmad Seyyed-Keshmiri for Big Nothing.
When the Clouds come down by Moein Karamaddini was picked as the best religious ritual documentary.
Iran's 5th Cinema Verite International Documentary Film Festival , was held from November 6 to 11 in Tehran.
