20 Iranian Films at Third Eye Asian Festival

Short Film News (SFN)- 20 Iranian films will be screening at the 9th Third Eye Asian Film Festival.

A Man Who Ate His Cherries by Payman Haghani, Heiran by Shalizeh Arefpour, The Quarter of Scarecrows by Hasan Ali Mohammad, Twenty by Abdolreza Kahani, The Voices by Farzad Montamen, Mikael by Jamshid Bahamani, The Girls by Ghasem Jaffari, The 7th day Morning by Seyed Masoud Atyabi, The Qandil Mountains by Taha Karimi, The Other by Mehdi Rahmani, Cloudy by Rouhollah Sohrabi, Banquet Under the Water by Babak Amani, The Bitter End of Coffee by Mortaza Akoochekian, Sea Was Mine One Day by Sasan Farokhnia, Picking the Dawn by Taimor Ghaderi, String by Shahram Ebrahim, The Ball & Alley byYahya Ghadamgahi, There is our House by Alireza Dehghan, Paboos by Mehdi Yarmohamadi, Sahra by Mostafa Kooshki are Iranian films among the films scheduled to be screened at the festival.

The festival will screen films in Spectrum Asia, First/Second Film Competition, Best Short Film Competition, A Retrospective of Past award winners, Focus on One Asian Country, Retro and Asian Film Culture Award sections.
 
Established to promote Asian cinema, the festival gives the Asian Film Culture Award to filmmakers who are making efforts to popularize Asian cinema in the world.

The 9th Third Eye Asian Film Festival will run Oct 28 - Nov 4, 2010 at Mumbai by the news sponsoring of SFN.
