Short Film News (SFN)- Iranian actress Fatemeh Motamed Arya is trying her hand at filmmaking with a documentary about seven Iranian cineastes.

Motamed Arya has worked several years on Seven Women Who Like Cinema before she began production.

She is currently working on the first episode of the documentary, which is comprised of seven episodes.

“Iranian cinema is in an unnatural condition and it is impossible to think about ideals in such a situation, nowadays, cinema just breathes to survive” she said.
