Four Iranian Short Films in Krakow Film Festival

Short Film News (SFN)- Four Iranian films are going to compete in the International Competition of the 48th edition of Krakow International Short Film Festival.

The Festival that is going to take place from 30 May till 5 June in Poland is going to screen 52 short films, documentaries, and animations in the International Competition.

The films are going to compete for the grand prix (Golden Dragon) and the winner is eligible to compete for Oscar nomination in Short Live Action and Short Animation categories.

Cyanosis (Rokhsareh Ghaemmaghami), Friend's Place, Enemy's Place (Elham Hosseinzadeh), Horn (Roohollah Masroor), and The Pilgrims of Pomegranate Valley (Ashkan Ahmadi) are the Iranian films in this festival.

From the submitted films for selection 23 documentaries, 17 shorts and 20 short animations will be screened.

The Great Britain by 13 titles has the vast majority of selected films and Bill Plympton, the great American animator, will be in this festival with his latest film Shut Eye Hotel.

Krakow International Short Film Festival is one of the most important short film events in the world and 1800 films from different countries submitted for participating in it this year.
