Short Film News- Mostafa Razzagh Karimi is making a film on the life and art of Morteza Momayez, the father of Iran's graphic arts.
According to the news website of Iranian Artists House, in this documentary some of his friends and colleagues talk about Momayez's personal life and art activities.
Mostafa Razzagh Karimi, the screenwriter and director of the film, says, "On the basis of a comprehensive research about the life and art of Morteza Momayez, I am trying to show the different aspects of his life. Some of his friends and colleagues have talked about him frankly."
He adds, "The most interesting thing about this film is we talk about this artist from all aspects of his life. We have interviewed persons such as Ebrahim Haghighi, Dabiri, Zarrinkelk, and Momayez's wife and his son. The film is shot in different places."
This documentary is based on a project titled Life on Image. It is written and directed by Mostafa Razzagh Karimi, and edited by Bahram Dehghan.
This is the first film from the "Distinguished People Series", shot in Tehran and Kordan, Momayez's burial place.
