Short Film News (SFN)- Iranian Film Festival is going to take place in 27th and 28th September in San Francisco, U.S.A.
In this festival which was established by the organizers of the Tiburon International Film Festival, 21 short films, documentaries and features are going to be screened.
On the first day of the festival the following films are going to be shown: Iran: Behind the Walls (Hakan Tokyay) an Iran / Turkey production, Faces on the Wall (Bijan Anquetil & Paul Costes) an Iran / France production, Behzad's Last Journey (John Murray) and Iran / Ireland production, Abyaneh, Red Village (Katayoun Afrooz), On the Road with Kiarostami and Cinema Iran (both by John Archer) from U.K, A World Between (Nazem Manouchehri), Lesson from Bam (Alireza Ghanie) an Iran / Australia production, Dead Heat Under the Shrubs (Esmael Barari), Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of Age (Glenn Baker) from U.S.A, and The Slap (Ehsan Amani).
And on the second day, Women Behind the Camera (Alexis Krasilovsky), 13 And a Half (Nader Davoodi & Abbas Ahmadi) an Iran / Canada production, The Shade (Mohammad Gorjestani) an Iran / Canada production, Exile Family Movie (Arash Riahi) an Iran / Austria production, American Fugitive: The Truth About Hassan (Jean Daniel Lafond) an Iran / Canada / America co-production, Zero Degree (Omid Khoshnazar), The Wild Goose (Mahmoud Reza Sani), Wind, Ten Years Old (Marzieh Vafamehr), Best in the West (Maryam Kashani), and Hannibal Alkhas Colorful Poems (Mohammad Reza Sharifi) are going to be screened.
Iranian Film Festival is going to take place in San Francisco Art Institution and some of the filmmakers will be presented there to discuss about their works.
