Short Film News (SFN)- Germany ARD Channel intends to make a documentary about Mahmoud Kiani Falavarjani, the Iranian Documentarist.

Kiani Falavrjani does not have any academic education on filmmaking and he is a trucker. He is active in documentary making for many years and his works are mainly about ecology and animals'lives.

Peter Metsger, Germany ARD Channel's documentary making manager in Iran who went to Falavarjan, the home town of this filmmaker, to study about making this documentary explains about making this documentary: "By making this film we want to show German people that how an Iranian person, without having academic education, could have done works by his talent and creation that is ahead of them. He is a filmmaker who makes unique films about ecology and animals' lives."

Faramarz Ghazi, the journalist of ARD Channel of Germany in Iran will be the director of this documentary.
