Short Film News (SFN)- Life, a short documentary by Mahmoud Kiani Falavarjani, is going to be screened in the 19th edition of Marseille International Documentary Film Festival.

The festival is going to take place from 2nd till 7th July in France and is going to show 33 documentaries from 19 countries in its two official competition sections.

Life, that is the sole representative from Iran in this festival, is going to be screened in Les Sentiers, a lateral section of this festival.

FIDMarseille received over 2200 films from 94 countries this year among which 19 films from 18 countries are going to compete in the international competition.

Also 14 French films are selected for National Competition.

The other lateral programs of this festival are: Robert Krimer Retrospective, to screen the documentaries by Zanzibar Group, America from the eye of Jean Pierre Guerin, Consideration of European Culture.

To screen some documentaries from France, Brazil, Chile, and Chine for the first time are the special programs of FIDMarseille.
