Short Film News (SFN)- Two Iranian animations are going to be screened in the 6th edition of Bimini International Festival of Animation Films.
The first 5 editions of this festival was held in Riga, the capital of Latvia and this year it is going to take place from 24th till 27th April in Georgia, Autonomous Republic of Ajara, in the city Batumi.
The festival has two Competition and Non-competition Categories and each category consists of different sections such as Film for Adults, Film for Children, Debut Film, Experimental/abstract animation, and applied animation.
This year two Iranian animations are going to be shown in two separate sections of this festival; Sugar Land by Babak Nazari in Film for Children of Competition Category and Colorful Night by Hossein Memari in Film for Children of Non-competition Category.
There will be another section in this festival in which the best Georgian animations are going to be screened. In this section 6 animations are going to be shown.
The festival organizers explained the reason of changing the holding place of this festival the cold weather of Latvia and the problems guests and organizers encountered.
