
Short Film News (SFN) - ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival will screen documentaries of the world famous film directors in a special program.
The festival will be held from February 25 to March 2 in Croatia, and will present documentaries from Louis Malle, Abel Ferrara, David Fincher, Abbas Kiarostami, Spike Lee, Carlos Saura, Jonathan Demme, Steven Spielberg, Jim Jarmush, Steven Soderbergh, and etc in this program.
The ZagrebDox organizers announced that 120 films from around 30 countries from all over the world will be shown in different programs of the festival's 4th edition.
In addition to the two competition programs, ZagrebDox also includes a number of side events.
National Retrospective dedicates to contemporary Japanese documentaries, and Auteur Retrospective includes the works of Marcel Lozinski.
Also, Auteur Night dedicates to the films of Petar Krelja, President of the ZagrebDox 2008 Jury, while in The Best You Tube Works program viewers will be able to select the best You Tube films by voting for them on ZagrebDox web pages, and these works will be shown in the festival.
