Short Film News (SFN)- Spotlight is the title of the special section of 15th HotDocs International Documentary Film Festival in Canada which is specified for retrospection of Iran documentary cinema.

According to the public relation of Documentary and Experimental Film Center, two manager of the well-known HotDocs Festival (Sean Farnell and Chris MacDonald) were in Iran during the first Cinema Verite Documentary Film Festival in Tehran and started cooperation with this center for making the primary selection of the films and sending Iranian documentaries to this festival.

All the producers and directors interested in participating in this festival can fill out the submission form at www.hotdocs.ca and send their works for this festival. Also the Documentary and Experimental Film Center is ready to get the works of Iranian filmmakers and after reviewing and making the primary selection send them to the festival.

The 15th edition of HotDocs International Documentary Film Festival is taking place from 17 till 27 April in Toronto, Canada.
