3 Iranian Shorts at Hamburg Festival

Short Film News (SFN)- The official selection for 25th International Short Film Festival Hamburg with three Iranian Shorts among them was announced.
 
The Old Men Never Die by Reza Jamali & The wooden Carpet by Abdolrahman Mirani from Iran are in International Competition and also Mahdi Jaefari with My Father Gave Me Water is in Three-Minute Quickie section.
 
This event has five competitive sections: International Competition, NoBudget, German Competition, Hamburg Competition and Three-Minute Quickie.
 
Furthermore, this year Hamburg has several special programs on the festival menu.

“Focus on Romania” with screening shorts from Romania, "The Sound of Cities" is a collection of musically underlayed super-8 films portraying the sound of international metropolises in the 70's.

"Cinematic highlights" from the past quarter of a century of Hamburg short film history. Best of 25 years is a program where the audience selects the films like choosing songs from a jukebox under the condition that no film can run more than once and "Suitcase from Kosovo" with screening selected short films and video art pieces from Kosovo.
