Short Film News (SFN) - Iranian documentary, Rough Cut by Firouzeh Khosrovani won an award in the 8th Asian film festival (Asiatica Film Mediale) in Rome.

The 26-minute long film received Special Mention accompanied by two other films in the documentary section, while the City of Rome Award for the best documentary went to Chinese director Zhao Dayong’'s Street Life.

The festival which was be held November 15 – 27, screened fiction and documentary films from 14 Asian countries.
