Short Film News (SFN)- Winners of the 24th National and 12TH International Tehran Short Film Festival announced on 18 November at Andisheh Hall during the closing ceremony of the festival.
The International Cinema jury members include Majid Shah Hoseyni from Iran, Joao Garcao Borges from Portugal, Firas Dehmi from Syria, Andrzej Bednarek from Poland and Amrit Gangar from India.
The first prize in the section of Questing the Truth was given to both The Cabin Man by Ashish Pandey from India and Closer than Breath a documentary by Parivash Nazarieh from Iran by the International Cinema Jury.
The best selected film of the 12TH International Tehran Short Film Festival was the film ELA by Silvana Aguirre Zegarra from Untied Knigdom.
Duty by Vlad Trandafir from Romania won the first prize of the Fiction section.
The winners of the Experimental section announced as follow:
Boomerang (Dariush Gharibzadeh from Iran), Ark (Grzegorz Jonkajtys frorm Poland) and The Lost Doll (Moien Samadi from Iran).
A Perfect Place by Elena Solodkova won the first prize of Animation section and the honored diploma was givan to Pig and Shakespeare Geon Kim from South Korea.
The International Cinema Jury gave its special prize to Justyna Tafel from Poland for the film of Half Me.
In Asia Pacific section the first prize went to the film Duty of the Son by Temirbek Birnazarov from Kyrgyzstan.
