Short Film News (SFN)- "Wind, ten years old" a film directed by Marzieh Vafamehr has won the Methexis section prize of 13th edition of Medfilm Festival.
"Wind, ten years old" has pictured one day life of a 10 years old girl in the Iran-Iraq war period and it is dedicated to the theme of intercultural dialogue by analyzing the propaganda's effects on education.
This film has been chosen because of the ability of its director, Marzieh Vafamehr, to put in contact the innocence of children with the denied desire for the dangerous game of war according to Medfilm jury.
"Knot" a film directed by Javad Varani has also won the prize of 3,000 euro in the share with "Wind, ten years old".
Winner of the 13th edition of Medfilm Festival announced last night during the closing ceremony at Cinema Europa in Rome.
