
Short Film News (SFN) - The winners of the first Iran International Documentary Film Festival: Cinema Verite were announced on 20 October 2007 in Tehran.
In International Competition, the jury members of Feature Documentary section, including Rakhshan Bani Etemadi, Toghrol Artoonkal, and Sean Farnel dedicated the grand prize of this section that was a turquoise symbol, an honored diploma and the amount of 10 thousand Euros to City of Photographers by Sebastian Moreno from Chile.
The special prize of this section including a turquoise symbol, an honored diploma and the amount of 3 thousand Euros went to Where Do I Belong to? by Mahvash Sheikhol Eslami.
In Short Documentary section, Manouchehr Tayyab, Rada Sesic and Kees Brienen, were the jury members and the grand prize of this section that was a turquoise symbol, an honored diploma and the amount of 7 thousand Euros was given to Mountain's Sad Song by Hamed Khosrawi.
The special prize of this section including a turquoise symbol, an honored diploma and the amount of 2 thousand Euros were dedicated to Zone of Initial Dilution by Antoine Boutet from France.
