Short Film News (SFN)- The second Rahmat International Short Film Festival is going to be held by the cooperation of East Azarbaijan Culture and Islamic Guidance Administration and the province's Photography Association in the year marked as the year of National and Islamic Unity.

The festival's goals are: introducing different dimensions of the holy prophet's character through pictures, recognition of the capabilities of the Islamic World in the production of religious films, and an artistic point of view towards the subjects and matters of the Islamic World; and its subjects are: 1. Manifestations of the Holy prophets ethics in contemporary era, 2. The function of spirituality in the life of the modern man, 3. The function of religious beliefs in the formulation and promotion of human relations, 4. The function of the unity in the life of the Muslims, 5. The cultural background and its manifestation in the entity and civilization of Iran, 6. Rituals and religious customs in the Islamic countries.

It consists National and International sections. The films produced since 2005 are acceptable for International section and there is no limit to send several films in different sections.

The works should be sent to the following address: 29 bahman Blvd, next to 29 Bahman Hospital, Tabriz Art and Culture Complex, 2nd floor, Society of artistic Photography. Tabriz, IR.Iran, and the deadline to send the works is 6th November 2007.

The second Rahmat International Short Film Festival is going to be held from 3- 6 December 2007.
