
Short Film News (SFN)- Two Iranian documentaries are going to be participated in New Asian Currents Lineup in the 18th edition of Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
This section, together with the International Competition, is the most important competitive sections in this festival in which 20 documentaries from 11 countries are going to be participated.
Looking Through, an 81-minutes documentary by Maani Petgar and a co-production of Iran and Australia, and Golden Dances by Ali Kalantari are the two documentaries from Iran in this festival.
In New Asian Currents Lineup, documentaries by Asian filmmakers compete for three prizes.
The fifteen participating films in the International Competition of the 18th Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival have been already announced.
Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival is a biennial event and this year it is going to be held from 4th till 11th October in Japan.
