Iranian documentaries in Parnu Anthropology Film Festival

Short Film News (SFN)- Seven Iranian documentaries are going to be shown in the 21st Parnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival.

This festival is going to be held from 8th till 28th July 2007 in Estonia and the Iranian works are going to be presented in competitive and non-competitive parts.

Lets Not Disturb the Water, A Hand Has Been Born, and A Window Facing the Sun by Bijan Zamanpira, This Word means Water by Reza Majlesi, Women of Dorfak BY Mohammad Nami, Iranian Lake by Ezzat Azizi, The Refrain of Locked Lenjs by Mehdi Omidvari are the Iranian selected documentaries in this festival.

The Museum of New Art in Parnu is holding this festival during which around 140 documentaries are going to be shown.
 
Parnu Festival has five categories of competition: International documentary, Children Documentary, Art Documentary, Estonian National Documentary, and television Documentary.

In the International competition four prizes would be given to the best film of the festival, the best film on survival of indigenous people, the best scientific documentary and The Prize of French Ambassador. In the four other categories one prize would be given to the best films.
