
Short Film News (SFN)- The members of IDA (International Documentary Association) announced the winners of year 2006.
The most important IDA awards were for Iraq in Fragments by James Longley as the best feature documentary and Angel's Fire by Marcelo Bukin as the best short documentary.
Other awards went to Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple (Stanley Nelson), An Innocent Truth (Davis Guggenheim), and Off to War (Brent Renaud & Craig Renaud).
Also in the competition section of the student members of this association, the award was for Reporter Zero by Carrie Lozano from University of California, Berkeley.
Among the continuing series nominated, the award went to American Experience, produced by Sharon Grimberg.
