Short Film News (SFN) - The presentation numbers of President Mir Qanbar, a documentary by Mohammad Shirvani, reached to 25.

Recently it was shown in the official competition part of 39th edition of Leipzig Animation and Documentary Festival in Germany and it is going to be shown in two other events in Poland and the U.S. as well.

The 6th edition of Human Rights Film Festival in Poland is going to be held from 7 - 18 December 2006 through which President Mir Qanbar is going to be shown.

Also it is going to be shown in the competition section of the 6th edition of Tiburon Film Festival in the U.S. which is going to be held from 22 - 30 March 2007.

President Mir Qanbar participated in important festivals such as Locarno and Yamagata and won one of the Yamagata awards.
