Short Film News (SFN) - Phase, Iran 2005, one of Kamal Bahar's medical - social documentaries was elected to be participated in the International Television Festival on Urban Life and Ecology.

This documentary is one of the three elected films among 204 films in year 2006 which is going to be shown in current process part of this festival.

The main focus of this festival is on the life of different tribes in the primary and the 4th edition of this festival is going to be held in 4 parts of professional documentary, amateur documentary, current process, video-minute in Madrid.

Phase, Iran 2005 is a film about the reasons and the results of using drugs with MDMA or ecstasy in different people of different societies and was participated in competition part of Freiburg Festival of Switzerland and Big Sky Festival of the U.S.A.           

The theme of this documentary also has been the subject of some lectures in several European universities and colleges in which the role and the social, economical and cultural compares and also the negative effects of using ecstasy in the west and in Iran has been discussed.
