Short Film News (SFN) - Well-known Iranian actor and director, Niki Karimi is a jury member of 7th edition of Izmir Short Film Festival.

The website of this festival announced this news and talked about her as a very important guest. The other jury members are not announced yet.
 
This festival which is the most important event on short films in Turkey is going to be held November 3 - 12, 2006.

The competition of this festival is in three fields of animation, documentary and experimental films.

The participants would compete for the Golden Cat in Izmir Festival.

On the other hand European Coordination of Film Festivals (ECFF) has recently accepted it as one of its members.

Niki Karimi has presented in Toronto Festival and later in Rome Festival as the director of A Few Days Later and will start his work as on of the casts of Manijeh Hekmat's new film.
