The selecting team for the Iranian film in Oscar 2007 announced that after having several meetings and considering all the aspects of the films released from October 2005 till October 2006 they reached to a list with 4 movies in: Fireworks Wednesday by Asghar Farhadi, Cafe Transit by Kamboozia Partovi, Gradually by Maziar Miri, A Small Kiss by Bahman Farmanara and the final feature selected participating in this event is Cafe Transit.

Roya Teimoorian, Majid Majidi, Mohammad Reza Honarmand, Mohammad Reza Sokoot, Reza Dorostkar, Morteza Shaieste, Amir Esfandiari and Cyrus Alvand are the members of the team for selecting Iranian movie for Oscar 2007.
