Short Film News - Two Iranian short films are going to be shown in the 51st Cork Film Festival in Ireland.

Cork Film Festival will be held from 8 - 15 October 2006.

64 Short films are going to be shown in the competition part of this festival this year.

My Boats by Safi Yazdanian and Wind, Ten Years Old by Marzieh Vafamehr are the two Iranian films in this festival.

Cork Film Festival was established in 1956 and is one of the fourteen European festivals to host the prestigious Prix UIP for the best European short film.

The winners of this festival will compete as the candidates of the best short film for the European Film Awards.
