The Big Sky Film Institute Announced 2006 Film Series

Short Film News - The Big Sky Film Institute announced the 2006 Big Sky Film Series.

The series will take place at the Wilma Theater, downtown Missoula, Montana, on the first Friday of select months throughout the year, screening documentary films from around the world.  The series is free and open to the public.

On Friday, August 4th, the series will showcase a selection of "Experimental Nonfiction Shorts" from local, national and international artists. The shorts program will highlight seven experimental documentaries including Werner Herzog's first film Herakles.

All screenings will be held in Theater 3 downstairs at the Wilma Theater. The program will run 43 minutes in length and will screen at 8:00 pm and again at 9:00 pm. There will be Q & A sessions with filmmakers in attendance.
