Short Film News- A project consisting of 7 documentaries by seven blind Iranian filmmakers kicked off under Mohammad Shirvani in the Documentary & Experimental Film Center.

Mohammad Shirvani thought of this project last year when he started teaching screenwriting and directing in the charity institution of The White Stick for the blind.

The seven blind filmmakers are going to shoot short documentaries about their personal lives with digital cameras according to the sounds they hear around them.

They hope to prepare their films for the next edition of Fajr International Film Festival. So far, three of these blind filmmakers have started shooting.

These directors are Sara Parto, Banafshe Ahmadi, Narges Haghighat, Shima Kahe, Mahdis Elahi, Shokoufe Davar Nejad and Naghme Afiat.
