Short Film News- In the general assembly of ASIFA (International Animated Film Association) held this year along with Zagreb Film Festival, Nourreddin Zarrinkelk was reelected as the president. 

Nourreddin Zarrinkelk, the great Iranian animator, due to the disagreement in the general assembly over a new president for the association, will remain as the ASIFA president.

"After 3 sessions, the assembly could not reach a consensus over a new president," said Ravanbakhsh Sadeqi, the Iranian animator and representative of ASIFA Iran, "So Zarrinkelk was reinstated by a clear majority."

Decision for a new director for ASIFA will be made in Hiroshima Film Festival, Japan, in 2 months.
