FIDMarseille Festival Announces Winners

Short Film News (SFN)- The winners of the 20th edition of FIDMarseille International Documentary Festival were announced.

The Grand Prix of the International Competition went to MATERIAL by Thomas Heise from Germany & Sharon Lockhart from USA for LUNCH BREAK get Special Mention.  

The Grand Prix of the French Competition goes to VIDEOMAPPINGS : AIDA, PALESTINE by Till Roeskens.
 
Georges de Beauregard International Prize went to RUINAS by Manuel Mozos from Portugal & Oleg Morozov from Russia for UNTIL THE NEXT RESURRECTION get Special Mention.

Georges de Beauregard National Prize goes to THE CAT, THE REVEREND AND THE SLAVE by Alain della Negra and Kaori Kinoshita.

The Prize for First Film went to SEARCHING FOR HASSAN by Edouard Beau  from France & Dounia Bovet-Wolteche from Belgium for LES RACINES DU BROUILLARD get Special Mention.

Public Libraries Prize goes to HINTERLAND by Marie Voignier from France & Monika Borgmann and Lokman Slim from Lebanon for SUR PLACE REVENANTS DES GUERRES LIBANAISES gets Special Mention.

GNCR Prize went to THE CAT, THE REVEREND AND THE SLAVE by Alain della Negra and Kaori Kinoshita from France and LE PLEIN PAYS by Antoine Boutet from France.

Marseille Esperance Prize goes to MANIQUERVILLE by Pierre Creton from France.

The 20th FIDMarseille Documentary Festival took place from July 8 until July 13 in France.
