Short Film News (SFN)- 9 Iranian short films, documentaries and animations are going to participate in the competition section of Poland Zoom Independent Film Festival.
The festival is going to take place from 17th till 22nd February in Jelenia Gora city of Poland and is going to screen the films in three sections: Independent, Amateur, and Student.
My Mom Has a Long Shadow and Next Life by Kaveh Ghahremani, Pantomime in Less Than 3 Min by Sheila Tavakoli, Stable by Kiyarash Zandi, In Our Home by Maryam Kashkoolinia, Disconnection by Mahmood Noori, Solitude by Mehrdad Sheikhan, Butterflies by Mohammad Ali Khalaji, and The Dragonfly Storm by Shahram Mokri are the Iranian films in the competition section of this festival.
This year over 70 short and long films from different countries such as Poland, Iran, Czech Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, etc. are going to be shown in this festival.
Zoom Festival is going to dedicate awards to the best feature, documentary, animation, experimental film or clip, student film, amateur and independent, in addition to its grand prix.
Also the special awards will be given to the selected films by the jury members and the audiences.
The time limitation for the works participating in this festival is in amateur section and the films in this section should be less than 20 minutes.
A filmmaking workshop for the youth is going to be held along with the festival which will be started two days before the festival and will be finished with it.
