The Second Joint Heritage Award will be Given to the best Persian Speaking Film

Short Film News (SFN)- According to the agreement made between Mohammad Afarideh, director of Cinema Verite International Festival, and Safar Haqdododov, director of Didar Festival, the second Joint Heritage Award will be given to the best Persian speaking film in Didar Festival in Tajikistan.

The agreement signed in Iran after a meeting through which the joint cultural points of Persian speaking countries were mentioned and the ways of expending artistic and cultural cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan were discussed. According to this agreement whose main goal is to preserve the joint heritage and to strengthen the cinema of Persian speaking countries in Asia, some programs are going to be performed such as holding cultural weeks in Tehran and Dushanbe, dedicating the Grand Award of Joint Heritage costing 4 thousand Euros to the best Persian speaking film in Didar Festival, holding workshops and Master Classes relating to documentary and fiction cinema for Tajik filmmakers, etc.

The third Didar Film Festival is going to take place in October 12-16 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
