Short Film News (SFN)- 27 short films and documentaries by Iranian filmmakers are going to be screened in the 3rd Manchester Kurdish Film Festival.
The festival is going to take place from 20th till 25th September in the two cinemas of Manchester in England.
This competitive festival is going to dedicate awards to the best film, director, cinematographer, actor, and actress.
Also this year there is a competition program on the ideas and screenplays by Kurdish filmmakers and 5 selected projects are going to be supported.
The films are going to be screened in the next year's festival after being completed.
The selected Iranian short films and documentaries in Manchester Kurdish Film Festival are as follows:
On Day Full of Pain and Border (Sattar Chamani Gol), If I Go and My Beautiful Son will be the King (Salim Salawati), Sajade (Nazir Mirrzai), A Song is Heard (Jalal Said Panah), My Tree (Sara Saiadat Najad), Crossing the Border of Delusion (Hatam Said Panah), Last Dream (Amir Musavi), We Pass by Each Other as If (Osman Mohammadi), The First Picture of Sun and Baran's Song (Jafar Nur Muhammadi), The Other Side of Cinema (Arash Abbasi), Outskirt (Saro Younesy), End Fever (Nahid Ghobadi), White Gold and A Window Facing the Sun and Mirror & Water (Bijan Zamanpira), Cat & Mouse (Bijan Zamanpira & Nahid Ghobadi), A Snowy Day's Night (Danish & Babak Salavati), Hunter and Shalan (Jabbar Salehi), Address and She Stands in the Field (Behnam Safari), Promise in Ooze (Behrouz Nourani Pour), Emergency State (Lawan Husseini), Pain (Hana Namdari).
In addition to the short films and documentaries, 9 features are going to be screened in this festival among which you can see Half Moon by Bahman Ghobadi.
