Short Film News- Mohammad Shirvani's President Mir Qhanbar is going to be shown in EBS channel of South Korea.

EBS TV of Korea holds a festival with the same name each year and shows the selected films in this festival from TV Channel.

This festival was held 10-16 July 2006 and President Mir Qhanbar is among the selected films.

Formerly Michael Moore, the well known American documentary filmmaker and the Oscar award winner, admired this documentary and invited the film to be participated in his second edition festival this year.

This documentary has been participated in 18 international festivals till now including Locarno in Switzerland, Yamagata in Japan, Sheffield in England,  Popoli in Italy , Nanets in France, Helsinki in Finland, Rotterdam in Netherlands, Tribeca in USA and gained the grand award in Japan Festival and won Magnolia award and the best documentary award in Shanghai Festival.

The story of the film is about a 75 years old man, Mir Qhanbar, who has passed the entry exam of the universities and now is thinking of being the president.
