Short Film News (SFN) - Hot Docs International Documentary Festival announced 9 filmmakers, industry professionals and journalists will sit on the 16th edition of festival's jury.

In the category of international features, the jury members are Esther van Messel, CEO, First Hand Films; John Greyson, filmmaker; and Cara Mertes, director of the Documentary Film Program, Sundance Institute.

The jury members for the Canadian features category are Geoff Pevere, The Toronto Star; Nahid Persson, filmmaker; and Sky Sitney, director of programming, Silverdocs.

For films in the category of mid-length/short features, the jury members are Sara Diamond, president, Ontario College of Art and Design; Marie-Anne Raulet, director, Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montreal; and Jean Marie Teno, filmmaker.

Hot Docs Festival will run April 30 - May 10 in Toronto, Canada.
